Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually–regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” MATTHEW 28:19‭-‬20 AMP

Man and woman…

Apparently this month, the month of June, is “National Pride” month. I can’t and will not support this notion. My views are different than those who live and support this notion. It is forced on everyone and if you dare to differ from the viewpoint you are hailed as evil and hateful, judgmental and much worse. That fine. That is your viewpoint. I don’t agree but I respect that…

But, afford me the same privilege…

In this article I will explain what and how we as members of God’s Army Ministries (and other Christians) view the relationship between man and woman. To start off with it must be made clear that we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is therefore the authority that we base our beliefs upon.

So, let’s start at the beginning. In Genesis we read about the creation of the world. God created all things. After creating all the plants and animals God said the following:

Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” Genesis 1:26 AMP

Then the following happened…

“then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]. – Genesis 2:7 AMP

Thus man (male) were created. But, God came to the following conclusion.

Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.” – Genesis 2:18 AMP

Then God brought all animals before man to name them and look for a companion suitable fir him…

And the man gave names to all the livestock, and to the birds of the air, and to every animal of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper [that was] suitable (a companion) for him. – Genesis 2:20 AMP

But despite this process, no suitable companion was found for him. Thus, God came up with the following solution…

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. – Genesis 2:21 AMP

God took the rib and fashioned a female out of it…

And the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man He made (fashioned, formed) into a woman, and He brought her and presented her to the man. – Genesis 2:22 AMP

Adam the made the following statement…

Then Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” – Genesis 2:23 AMP

After the creation of woman, the following statement is made in the next verse…

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. – Genesis 2:24 AMP

Now, based on this verse it is clear to me that a man will leave his parents to have a life with his wife. With his wife he will make a living. With his wife he will “become one flesh” … God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Not Eve and Evelyn. Adam and Eve. Man and wife…

This fact is also confirmed in the following vers.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. – Genesis 1:27 AMP

God created male and female, man and wife, Adam and Eve. This is what the Bible tells us, and this is what we believe.

I am not going to argue with you should you not believe thr same. That is your choice and your beliefs. I will not change your mind and you will not change mine. I choose to believe Bible as the Word of God on this. I believe this and live by it.

I am not trying to force my beliefs on you. I can’t change your mind. I can only pray that you see the truth.

Watter soort leier was Jesus? Jesus was ‘n dienaar.
